Catching up with my sister

My sister and I are very close. Although we are not anywhere close in age, but we are very well together. Can you imagine that we even have babies on the same day? It is true. Our boys were born practically only an hour and half hours apart.

Anyway, we chatted a lot using MSN Messenger since we are located across the world from each other, one in LA and the other in Australia. But lately, since her IM was infected with virus, we no longer talk online anymore. It has been weeks since we last chatted and I really miss her.

This afternoon while my son was sleeping, it came to me that it’s time to make a phone call to her. I went online to find out how much it would cost me if I call her using my Cingular cellphone and let me tell you I was SHOCKED when I saw the rate to call Australia is $3.49 per minute. I was hesitated to call her due to the expensive rate because I know when I start talking to her, it will not stop since we have a lot catching up to do. This may rack up my cellphone bill to hundreds of dollar.

Then I found out about MobileTalk by Packet8, the cheaper way to call international countries using your cellphone. It will help you save up to 90% from the regular international calling rates your cellphone company charges you.

And since it will only cost me 3 cents a minute for a call made to Australia, I can afford talking to my sister for hours!

Packet8 Mobiletalk offers:

  • High quality digital calls
  • No calling card or pin number to remember
  • No data plan needed
  • No "connection fees"
  • No hot spot required

Keeping in touch with family don't have to put a hole in your wallet anymore. So sign up with MobileTalk, pick up your cellphone and call your family and friends all around the globe this holiday season!
