This niece of mine is only a year older than my sister. I remember she was a very shy and reserved 14 years old girl when she and her mother first came to KL from Penang. Then slowly she changed. I still remember when she first showed us her nose ring which she had to take off when she attended school. A year later, she showed us her tongue ring. She came out from her shell and now she is a beautiful and popular woman among her societies. Didn't keep in touch with her since she left Melbourne for study. But now she is back in KL and she is doing well. Only heard news about her through my aunt.
