Baby's Pictures

Since baby came home from the hospital till about a month ago, I took a lot of pictures of him. That was like an everyday event - taking photographs. I wished I would have taken more during the first two weeks when we came home. But during that first two weeks I was too busy resting or taking care of the new baby and also with house painting that took place on the third week. I didn't have enough pictures of him during that time which I really miss when I was going through the digital album.

Looking back most of the pictures which I've taken looked kinda similar and has similar background - either it was my bed or the crib or our dinning room (where he plays during his active time). And like 90% of them are taken INSIDE the house. We don't go out too often unless on weekend, but we are not going to take any pictures while shopping for groceries. And Brandon's outdoor pictures are mostly sitting on his travel system car seat (before our trip to KL) or his new convertible car seat or sitting in his stroller.

Lately, I've been lacking in this event. Haven't been taking too many pictures of Brandon this past month, actually since our trip back from Malaysia. I still take pictures of him, only once or twice a week only. I think his look is not much different than the previous week. Unlike back then, his looks kept changing and he looked so much different when he was 2 or 3 or 4 weeks old. His look kinda settled down by now.

Last week I asked SIL to help us take family pictures outside our house. Why outside our house? Since we can't ask her to go nice places with us to take and we need someone (MIL & FIL) to make Brandon smile while taking the pictures. She took 7 shots and several of them turn out very nice. This one below is one of them and I supersized this picture to 16" x 20" using Shutterfly online service and has just received the print this past Friday. Just looking for a wall spot to hang it.

The Family Picture

Brandon wasn't smiling when I took this picture because there was no one beside me to make him smile

The framed family potrait still sitting on the sofa waiting for time and spot to hang it up

Same here! I regret not having taken more pics of Bee in the hospital and after coming home in the first few weeks as we're both super stressed with her day & night confusion and refusal to sleep! I'm with u abt not taking photos when we're out and most are indoor photos only *LOL*. We are just not bothered to take pics when we're out else we wont be able to fully enjoy the purpose of our outing or shopping tasks. We often carried our camera when we're out but always ended up not taking photos. I am sure once our babies get older, we could start enjoying snapping more outdoors photos :D I was just telling hubs the other day that people might think we never take Bee out as most of her pics were taken indoors and worse still, at home too!

g: we too so stressed out when we came back from the hospital. so many things to do, and was bf like every 2 hours. so busy then, forgot to take more pictures. i also always have my digicam in my handbag, just in case if i need to capture the 'moment' snapshot at anytime. i do notice that most of bee's pictures in your blog are indoors. may be can try taking some pictures at your backyard or front yard. btw, the wedding pic so much touch up one, look nice but not really the "real" me. that time was forced to buy this big portrait because they rep was so pushy.

sasha: thanks!

vien: yup, we like taking pictures. we can't think of anything else to decorate on the shelves so we put picture frames.

eiko: come come visit me lar! the you can see more of it.

angeleyes: this pic brandon looks the cheekiest thats why we thought is fun to have it enlarged. when u drop by LA next time, come visit me!
