Fostering a Dog name Rosy

I have made up my decision not to adopt a dog but instead I will foster. Fostering a dog is not as much commitment as having a dog of your own, which I think suits me better in this case.

Two weeks ago, when I was looking into dog adoption websites, I came across Rover Rescue located in Redondo Beach. I wrote to the founder, Cathy Rubin and asked her about fostering dogs. These rescue groups always in need of foster homes for their pets. She replied promptly and we kept in touch since then. Then one day when I was at the Carson Animal Shelter I saw a lady with Rescus Rover Tee shirt. So I went to her and said Hello. It turned out she was Cathy Rubin. So we talked and exchanged phone numbers. She was looking to rescue dogs from the shelter.

So on Monday, I wrote an email to her stating our decision to help taking care of a dog until he/she is being adopted. She wrote back and told me that they have a dog name Rosy (picture) that needs a foster home. Rosy is a 1 - 1.5 years mini Schnauzer mix about 13 pounds. She is currently boarding at an animal hospital at Inglewood. She will be bringing her by tomorrow, Thursday. I asked her if I need to get anything in ready for her. Cathy told me she has everything that is needed. We probably just need to get a baby gate to block out the kitchen and bedrooms. We will update with more pictures about her when she arrives. During the foster period, we need to bring the dog by the pet adoption day every other Saturday at Centinenla Pet Shop, in Redondo Beach.

EDIT (10pm): Rosy will not be coming tomorrow. She is now being foster by another home as the dog at this foster home has been adopted today so Rosy went there. If she has not been adopted by next Wed, then may be she will come. We actually went to the pet store to get her a few toy and treats and a leash. We will be anticipating for her next week if she has yet to be adopted that is.
