Being nosy, I went ahead to check the pricing for tickets from LAX to KUL on Eva Air Deluxe Class. I know, why not travel by Malaysian Airline. Actually I compared the pricing, with an economy class pricing on MAS, I can travel with Eva Air on Deluxe class. They are almost the same price. Deluxe class seating is slightly wider than economy. Furthermore, I have been accummulating my mileage with Eva Air all the time.
OK, the price including taxes and everything (security, airport, etc) came out to be USD1219.00, for my ticket. Brandon's ticket has to be purchased at the airport. Probably 10% of the adult fare plus all the required taxes, (probably around $200 for the taxes alone). Hubby said poor thing, Brandon has to share seat with you on the 14hours + 4hours layover + another 4.5 hours. He said he wants to buy his little boy his own seat ... wahlau eh ... my man wants to spend an extra $900 so that we both can travel nicely. I was thinking, what if Brandon doesn't want to seat by himself? Then wasted the $900 only. kekeke
Hey you KL ppl, don't get too excited yet. I haven't bought the ticket. This was just my tentatively research on the pricing only.

Dang, you got me excited for a moment XD! Kakaka!
LOL! All those chats about RM1 nasi lemak make you wanna go home? :P If you're gonna bring Brandon home..do so before he turns 2. Then it will be full airfare.
It's definitely more worth it to pay for the Eva air deluxe seat. For me, I did buy an extra seat for my gal even b4 she was 2 'cos she was a big baby & I cannot tahan her sitting on my lap for that long journey. With 2 seats, she can also lie down to sleep :)
wow, planning come back to Msia for vacation...good!!! you can taste all the delicious food liao...i suggest buy extra seat, you wont be so tired then...somemore more space to move around...
eiko: hehehe ... don't get too excited and fell of the chair.
vien: yaloh, talking about asam laksa, my aunt makes good asam laksa, so soury and spicy. yummy.
blur mommy: may consider with buy 2 economy tickets instead of deluxe class plus infant. i think it may add up the same.
lovely mummy: ya ... want to come back join the blogger mommies gathering mar. hehehe
whoisbaby
You know you do have another option right? My DH wanted to get a ticket for Nikita (price at 75% of adult tix) but Nikita was so sticky to me then that she won't even sit by herself. So, instead I upgraded myself to biz class which the sit is so spacious and we could both lie down together when we want to sleep. The cost probably is even lower than paying a 75% price for a uncomfortable econ sit.
PS: u can only do this if your child is below 2yo before travel.
