New Fisher Price Papasan cradle/swing for Baby Brandon

We bought the above Fisher Price Baby Papasan cradle/swing online thru Amazon.com website. It was on sale for $99.99 (regular price outside is $139.99+tax) with free shipping and no sales tax for CA. Now Amazon is selling it for $119.99.

Anyway, we orderred it beginning of July and we just received the swing on this afternoon. They have none in stock then, so we have to wait until they have and will send out the item on first come first serve basis. Took it about a month to arrive but for the price, we can't complain.

The swing arrived at 515pm by UPS truck and hubby immediately opened up the box and assembled the swing for Brandon. It took him 30 minutes to put together the swing (I was cooking dinner while he did the assembly). We then put Brandon on it for a "test run" while we ate our dinner sitting on our "little Ikea stool" while staring at Brandon playing with the toys attachment that comes with the swing. He is enjoying his "new" toys.

To see Brandon on the swing: visit his very own blog.

Features on this Fisher Price Baby Papasan Cradle/Swing:
  • Two ways to swing (cradle:side to side OR swing: back and forth) with a touch of a button
  • Nest-like seating offers cradle feeling and soft texture fabric seat pad (can be removed for washing) for baby maximum comfort
  • 6 soothing speed settings, 8 songs and nature sounds
  • Motorized spinning mobile and mirror above the swing to entertain baby
  • Removable toy bar with snack tray
  • Cushy neck support (good for torticollis baby brandon)
  • Seat can recline to two different positions
  • Requires 4 D batteries (dunno how long these will run for)
  • Age birth - 2years or until baby is 25 pounds
  • Can be folded for storage

A lot of reviewers in Amazon.com highly recommend this swing for baby with colic/reflux problems to ease and help the baby to sleep. Rated 4.5/5 stars at the website.

We use the same swimg for our daughter (4-month old) for several weeks already, she likes the side swinging function and sometimes sleeps in it, it is so funny to watch her dozing off in the swimg. I think Brandon will like it too. You definitely got it at a great price, it is worth the wait.

Wow.. he has his own swing.. don't have to share with the public like Zara with the park swing.

egghead: i wish they have one for adults too. *wink*.

anonymous: yea i know. it is really fun to watch him sleep in the swing. but i am worry now that he might not want to sleep elsewhere from now on. =)

zara's mama: too bad we don't have any park within walking distance so no public swing or playground for us. wish we can one REAL swing / slide on our backyard.
