Getting ready for winter sports

Winter is coming in less than 2 months. Isn't that fast? I feel like last year's winter had just gone by not too long and now is coming again. I know a lot of people are waiting for winter to come around so they can hop on the snowboards and skis.

Living in Los Angeles gives us a chance to surf in the ocean as well as skiing up high at the mountain all in 1 day. We can easily drive up to the Big Bear Mountain in a few hours from the beach.
