Summer is here

Now is the best time of the year (beside spring time). Why so? Because we have longer day time hours now. The sun comes up around 530am. The sky stays bright up till around 845pm then only it will turn dark. Love this time of the year as it makes me feel I can get more things done. The weather is hot and will just be getting even warmer in the next few months, but once the sun set the breeze from the ocean will cool it off.

We don't have air conditioning system in our home, though it will be great to have one. If we have one, then our eletricity bill would be sky rocket high if we use the A/C. Luckily, our weather is pretty cooling except may be two or three months (July-Sept) out of the year. During that time, we would turn on the ceiling fans. OR we can jump into the pool on our backyard to cool ourselves off. Probably will get a baby float for Baby Brandon to use when we go into the pool. It will be fun for him I think.

I love swimming but rarely do it. Mainly I am afraid of getting darker and didn't like to swim under the hot sun. If I wait until the sun has set, the breeze will be chilly and I don't feel the need to jump into the pool anyway by then. What a waste of the swimming pool at my backyard. We are paying about close to $1000 maintenance a year for a pool that we may use once or twice a year. Guess, have to start having some pool parties and invite friends over to enjoy the pool with us. Anyone????
